Passion is the forefront of everything I do. Beyond traditional professional development, I’ve pursued passion projects that allow me to grow, learn, and challenge myself in new ways.
From starting my own brand to exploring new hobbies, creative endeavors, and hands-on craftsmanship, I’m always seeking opportunities to expand my skills and perspectives outside the typical realm.
Primrose by Brooke
In October 2024, I launched my handmade brand, Primrose by Brooke, creating hand-drawn, sewn pieces rooted in the slow fashion movement within a world dominated by fast fashion. What began as a creative outlet quickly became a meaningful learning experience, giving me firsthand exposure to running every aspect of a brand while developing a deeper understanding of consumer preferences, purchasing behavior, and what drives connection to thoughtfully made products.
I brought the brand to life through four pop-up shops at local farmers markets, managing inventory and POS operations, marketing each event, and engaging directly with customers. Each two-day market generated $2,000 to $5,000 in revenue. Building the brand firsthand strengthened my understanding of core business fundamentals, including inventory planning and material sourcing, cost and margin management, direct-to-consumer selling, customer personas, and the importance of improving systems to scale.

Firefighters for Healing is a non-profit organization that supports burn survivors, firefighters, and their families.
In November of 2024, I had the opportunity to not only attend such an impactful charity event, but also be apart of it. My brand, Primrose by Brooke, donated a custom crewneck and tote bag to the silent auction, raising over $250 to support the charity.
On top this I served as a content volunteer and auction spotter to support the organization and encourage attendees to get involved.
As a content volunteer, I managed the main photo wall, assisting attendees to take and share photos to further the word of the organization.
As the auction spotter I assisted the auctioneer in the live while also encouraging the audience to bid through high energy and excitement.

Travel Guide
I absolutely love traveling, and after my incredible 4 month study abroad in fall of 2023, I wanted to make something that would help fellow abroad students navigate the scary journey of living abroad.
I created a comprehensive 22 page travel guide highlighting packing lists, phone plan advice, and my travel locations with hyperlinks to recommendations. I received amazing feedback and have sold over 50 guides.
